The Unison Saxophone
S300 Series II Alto
"Artist" Edition
This one-of-a-kind instrument was handmade for DBS when he accepted the endorsement of Unison Saxophones. It is a modified version of the stock S300II according to DBS' specifications.
It is designed to allow DBS to use the least amount of effort possible when pressing the keys of the sax while delivering an extraordinarily powerful and vibrant tone.
All who have played, or even heard this saxophone, can comment that it possesses one of the most remarkable tones they have ever heard a saxophone produce, even among those who regularly use the legendary Selmer Mark VI.
